“Shri Ashokbhai Keswani, how he escpaed death by Guruji’s grace, his son Rohit Keswani writes in his own words. I am Rohit Keswani, currently in Australia,S/O Mr.Ashok Keswani from Bilimora.I want to share one of the many instances with all you people, which occured in my family.1)This happened around in November 1998,the day was Guru Nanak Jayanti.Dad was coming back home from our shop(motor cycle reselling agency) in Chikhli(Shree Rohit Auto Parts),alone on motorcycle as usual, at around 8.30pm.Just when he reached half way back, near Nandarkha,he felt two big smashing hits on his head from back.He turned behind to look what just happened?? and saw two men on a Yamaha bike,1 of them holding a hockey bat.Immediately he got the hunch that they are here to loot him off,in the cover of darkness. He kept riding fast until he threw off the bag containing money he had, into the bushes nearby, just then they tried to bring him off the bike n asked for the money/valuables whatever he had.He denied of having anything,so they ram raided his tiffin bag to check if they could get any thing, they didn’t get the chance to see him throw off the bag!!by this time now, they saw headlights of sum vehicles coming from behind down the road, they fled off from the spot.My dad by this time was half soaked in blood oozing out of his head, becoz of strong strokes of hockey bat.He collected his money bag and jus ran upon the road and started yelling ‘JAI GURUDEV!! JAI GURUDEV!!OM SOHAM!!OM SOHAM!!GURUDEV MUJHE BACHAO!!’Hearing this noise, people from surrounding area came rushing to the spot, recognised him and enquired about the incidence, wastin no time they rushed him down towards Bilimora, while to be rushed to the hospital he got down from bike and personally went to Dr.Gupta’s residence to explain him all.Doctor told him not to loose a moment and reckoned him to reach the hospital as soon as possible, while from home he called up the staff to be ready for a major trauma case and rushed to the operation theatre behind within no time.It was a very critical condition in there, but with Guruji’s grace there was no clot in the brain despite of major blows,so he was out of danger saved from a hammorheage and was operated for the external wounds and was given 24 stitches across his head, imagine the pain he must be feeling inside.Just before mooving in to the operation my dad himself gave the phone number to the nurse and told her to call up and inform the family about the incidence.By the time we reached there,he was about to come out of the OT.All were panic and scared as we were to leave for gurudwara for celebrating the festival once he was back home and are here in hospital waiting for him to be all right and fine when he is out. Those moments were horrendous for all of us.Then when he came out and was shifted to the room, first thing he told me was go to Chabilkaka and ask him to come to hospital with me.I hadn’t met him before as dad was very freshly initiated(taken mantra deeksha) by guruji and so i never got a chance to meet ‘KAKA’ before.I went to meet and pick up ‘KAKA’ as per dad’s instructions. When ‘KAKA’ came to him,he slowly mooved his hand over his head saying “GURUJI SAB ACHCHA KAR DENGE,MEIN KAL SUBAH PHONE KAR KE SAB BOL DOONGA” my dad swears that he felt his pain goin away when ‘KAKA’was moving his hand over the head.Doctor said he will be back home soon, within weeks he was fine and back to his normal routine.Thankfully there was no memory loss due to accident, of which the doctor had warned!!Few days later we heard the same dacoits had looted valuables from a Van, in which sum people were travelling around for pilgrimage, the driver of the van was killed as well, that same evening at around 9.00pm. This shows they were not hesitant to kill any one for money and would have done the same to my dad as well,if Guruji didn’t save him.We all soon went to Guruji’s ashram, once dad was doing perfect and fit.Listening to Gurudev’s consoling speech all were so relieved as if nothing had ever happened!!Really we all must be lucky with our previous deeds to have such a FATHER(Guruji) to care for us.So to end it i would say,i can’t express into words the bliss and blessings THY HOLINESS showered upon us by saving the only bread winner of the family and the most important person of my life.” |
