Divine Experience

“Jai Gurudev! I am Divyesh Venilal Rana, from Navsari, Gujarat. I along with my family have been very closely and dearly associated with our param pujya Guruji – Swami Shri Manishanandji, ever since we met him. We feel blessed and loved by his presence. This letter expresses my love and respect for Guruji for all his mighty kindness and miracles that he has showered upon me and my family. Firstly, I would like to appreciate the members of Guru parivar having let me share my divine experience with Guruji to owe my gratitude towards him by reminiscing his presence in my life. I am very thankful to my Guruji for giving me his sight and blessings throughout my life. I consider myself fortunate to be called a disciple of Swami Shri Manishanandji – my god. There are immeasurable instances in my life where Guruji’s guidance imperatively directed me to become the person I am today. Among them, one of the instances was when I deliberately suffered from Exam Phobia during my high school. It was a sudden change that instantly posed negative impact to my thoughts which turned me into a failure from a very brilliant student. As our Guruji says, “as you think, so shall you become,” and so it happened to me. My consistent believe and thoughts about me being a failure lowered my self-confidence. This eventually leaded to the development of phobia towards exams which caused me to forget everything what I had learned. On an occasion, where I had denied appearing for the board exams due to fear of failing it, Guruji strongly prompted to appear rather than running away from the battlefield. He also added, “I am with you Divyesh bête.” Having believed in Guruji’s brave and inspiring words, I gathered courage and decided to appear for the exams which alleviated the burden that my parents were holding. Even though, I appeared for every paper, my overpowered negative thoughts caused me to believe that I will fail in every subject. However, things turned differently for me. There I got to see my Guruji’s first blessing upon me. I was exposed to an undreamed miracle. Believe it or not, I passed in every subject. The story does not end here; I also got admitted to an engineering college in Bangalore, where I completed my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. All I can say is that it is because of Guruji, and constant support and prayers by my parents for me is the reason why I am a successful engineer today. It is Guruji who has helped me complete my Mechanical Engineering by opening the way for me to achieve everything in life. Phobia is such that once you get hold of it, it takes time to die away from your mind. As a result, it did not leave me sooner. It had spread everywhere; to my attitude, to my behavior, to my thoughts, and unknowingly to my health. Having dealt with much complication and comprehending the fact that I haven’t yet achieved anything in my life, I couldn’t see any future ahead. I vividly remember Guruji’s saying, “Remove all obstacles which come in your virtuous thinking and which hinders your speed of growth.” However, I could not understand those powerful words spoken from great mind. I took exams more critically than it actually is. Guruji understood me and my problem. He knew the root cause as nothing is concealed from him. And so throughout my engineering, I was channeled and encouraged by Guruji, who delivered innumerable miracles not only in my studies but also in other aspects of my life. For instance, in few of my engineering papers, I had not sufficiently written to obtain a passing mark, despite my persistent hardwork in reading everyday. However, when the results were out, to my surprise I was marked with passing percentage in all the subjects I had doubted at. These incidences are incredible and beyond belief for which I am sincerely indebted to Guruji. Today, my fear has unknowingly left me which I anticipate to be again Guruji’s miracle. A man who had lacked faith over his ability and could never have imagined working at an engineering firm is now a Product development Project Engineer in an Automotive Company in the U.K. and has kept his fear small. Our Guruji said: “Life is a challenge and I accept it,” and so I have learned to be reasonably patient and accepting. Reminiscing my academic days, I now determine these incidences to be dynamic parameters that has crafted and constructed me to expand my horizon. I have explored myself and evolved as a man having determination and strength. I consider myself a chosen one that I was exposed to such wide spectrum of experiences in an early life. Hadn’t I, I would never have met Guruji. Therefore, I strongly belief in the quote that says, “Everything happens for a reason.” This struggle has brought me closer to Guruji and has allowed me to discern my goals in life. I appreciate my parents and my brother for their constant support and serenity when dealing with me. As much as it seemed difficult for me, it sure has been the most difficult situation for them too. Today, I tend to see a ray of hope in my life that will help me fulfill all my suppressed dreams. On the other hand, one particular thing saddens me and brings tears to my eyes when I realize that Guruji has left his body. The fact that I will not be able to see him in the Ashram again weakens me. Yet again when I remember his potent words “You will find me when you close your eyes,” makes me smile. And in doing so, I see his sparkling eyes telling me that he is with me everyday. He is with all of us still guiding with his miracles which sometimes gets unnoticed. Facing every challenge with strength and patience brings us more close to Guruji. I also wish my story helps inspire many children and adults who have lost their hope in life. I only want to say to them that one can achieve anything in life through persistent hardwork, sincerity and faith in Guruji.”
