“An instance presented here was experienced by Gurubandhu Respected Shri Prannath Sharma residing at Vikaspuri, New Delhi. In his own words, “I serve the Indian railways in the vigilance branch at a very sensitive and responsible position. I was then traveling in a first class compartment from Delhi to Mumbai. There was only one co-passenger in the whole compartment. We both were lost in our own thoughts and apparently there was no communication between us. It was night time. The co-passenger took out his diary, noted something in it and then, leaving his diary and pen there itself, he proceeded to retire for the day. I silently observed all this, but thought nothing of it then.” As dawn came, my soul was overjoyed to see the beautiful and heartening scene of the sun coming out from behind a cluster of hillocks and spreading its warm energetic rays throughout the world. Experiencing the pleasantness of this heart-warming natural scene, I could not resist commenting, “How wonderful this sunrise is!” Immediately on hearing this, my co-passenger promptly handed over his diary to me and asked me to read the comment that he had written in it the previous night. When I read it, I was stunned with disbelief, because the comment read; “Tomorrow morning my co-traveler will make a pleasant comment on the beauty of the natural scenery and start communication with me”. I was very impressed with this precise forecast and could not help marveling at the divine powers of my companion who could so perfectly look into the future. I requested him for more insightful future reading. He instructed me to read the scriptures in “Vivekchudamani” written by Shrimad Shankaracharyaji and smilingly professed, “All good things will happen at the right time”. Upon reaching Mumbai Central station, I tried to follow and trace my divine companion but could not. Please believe me, he just melted in the surroundings”. Another instance of Guruji’s divine play with Shri Prannathji: “I was again traveling to Mumbai. In a similar circumstance to the previous one, there was a lone passenger in the compartment, who was deeply involved in reading a book. As night fell, he closed the book and put it aside and went to sleep. As sleep was still eluding me, I thought of passing my time by leafing through that book. I picked it up and started reading it. As it so happened, the book impressed me very much and I became engrossed in it so much that I spent the whole night reading it. In the morning the co-traveler woke up and remarked, “I think you were awake for the whole night”. I replied, “Yes indeed, the book is very good. Please excuse me for borrowing it without you permission”. That book was a famous one, titled ‘Sahaj Rajyog’ written by Swami Vivekanandji. It inspired me a lot and proved to my launching pad in the spiritual life. In both the above instances, my co-passenger was a different person in physical form. But later, I was to realize that it was the same entity of the ever-present Pujya Gurji.
